We are not just selling rooms but providing hospitality

Grazie.

This wasn't really a holiday to a hotel. Or like being on a holiday at all. It was more like going to stay with your long lost Italian cousins. All the good Italian experiences I've ever had involved a very welcoming, laid back approach to the situation, which immediately makes you feel like a family member. It's great. This was no exception i'd say easily the coolest family I've ever had the pleasure to stay with. So friendly and polite. As for the location. It's perfect. Good Coffee 30 secs walk. Good ice cream 2 mins walk. Beach 15 mins walk. Shops 2 mins walk. The heart of the town 3 mins walk. The train station 15 mins walk. The supermarket 10 mins walk. Value for money is unquestionable. Will return 100%.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The apartment was lovely, clean and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Antonio for your help with our train transfer from Naples to Rome. You went the extra mile. An ideal location, central and accessible. We enjoyed a lovely few days here.

I have stayed at Villa Elisa many times. It is perfect for me! I can walk everywhere because it is located near the center of Sorrento. My room was lovely and very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The owners, the Iaccarino family, are lovely people. They make you feel at home. Villa Elisa is very safe as well. I always book far ahead so I can be sure of a room because it's really the only place I want to stay in Sorrento!

We absolutely adored our Villa Elisa apartment.

“Enjoyed our Stay at Villa Elisa” We stayed in the upper apartment at the Villa Elisa in October 2015. Villa Elisa is centrally located in Sorrento - walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and things to do. The room was very comfortable and had a great view of the piazza. The piazza could get busy at night, but the noise didn't bother us as the bedroom was not on the street side. Antonio was a huge help setting up transportation for us, and Mario gave us plenty of good advice on things to do and see locally. The room had a hair dryer. However, the internet was spotty.

“Posto fantastico” Il residence e' bello e posizionato in centro a sorrento comodo come punto di partenza per visitare i meravigliosi posti che offre la costiera.L'appartamento e' ospitale, grande e pulito!!!I proprietari sono persone solari, fantastiche e corrette.Consiglio residence Villa Elisa a tutti coloro che vogliono fare una vacanza a Sorrento!!!

“NICE” The Villa Elisa is centrally positioned in Piazza Sante Antonino, close to the main square of Sorrento, Piazza Tasso. Self catering establishment with 5 rooms, all with cooking facilities, 4 of the rooms are downstairs and have access to outside courtyard wherever tables and chairs are provided to enable you to eat outside and enjoy the sunshine. The other apartment is upstairs next to the family apartment and comes with own outside space. A cleaner comes in every day and entrance to the apartments is by way of a locked gateway. There is also a sun terrace which is available to all residents, and whilst small provides beautiful views ideal for the usual photo opportunities, as well as sunbathing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would like to thank Pinella and Mario, and their son Antonio who speaks excellent english and who is happy to provide any assistance or advice you may require during your stay.

“Perfect Location, Charm and Price”First off this is not a hotel, it is your own little apartment off the beautiful Plaza San Antonio right in the center of everything. Our particular little apartment where we spent 3 nights, had a queen bed, a full size kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Imagine!!!Staying here almost makes you feel like a local!!!!. We walked out of our locked patio gate onto the plaza with restaurants all around and wonderful shopping. The marina where we caught the ferry to Capri was a down hill walk. We walked all over town, spent time in cafes on the main square watching the town folk participate in the nightly passaggiata and walked to the train station from our hotel to catch the train to our next stop Florence. For me, staying in a place like this makes me feel less like a tourist and more like a traveler. If we ever go back to Sorrento we will stay here again. Much thanks to Mario and Antonio.

“Perfect accommodation!” When booking a holiday I spend an awful lot of time trawling through Tripadvisor reading hundreds of reviews for accommodation. I decided on Villa Elisa and I am so pleased I did!! The location was absolutely perfect! Situated in a pretty square, a 30 second walk to Piazzo Tasso and a 5 minute walk to the Marina where we took the ferry to Ischia and Capri. We had a ground floor apartment that opened onto a communal terrace. I would also say this was the cleanest accommodation I have stayed in, completely spotless! The room was cleaned every day. There was plenty of clean towels and a kitchenette so we could prepare our packed lunch for the day. Prior to arriving, Antonio was very helpful with booking airport transfers and restaurant reservations. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Elisa, especially as the cost was half the price of a hotel and in a better location. Make sure you check out the roof terrace, available for all guests, it has two sun loungers and a table and chair, so nice to relax whilst catching the afternoon sun!

“Brilliant location with lovely Italian charm!!” Having done a lot of research for where to stay on our week long trip to Sorrento, me and my partner decided to stay at Villa Elisa based on the good reviews we had read mainly on TA.We knew it was relatively cheap which caught our interest but also made us a bit cautious at first. We eventually decided decided that it would be nice to have the option of making our own lunches to take on day trips etc if needed and so took the 'risk'.This initial caution was immediately put to rest when, upon our arrival, we walked straight into the lovely communal garden terrace and were shown to our very clean room. (Which was kept spotless on a daily basis by the cleaner). Not only that, the location is superb and opens right onto the classy Piazza Sant'Antonino from which all of the main attractions are no more than a 5 minute walk. You have a family ran coffee shop right next door for getting various snacks if needed etc where you can also sit outside and watch the world go by.Finally a special mention to Antonio and his father, Mario, who were both always on hand to help with things like arranging a taxi back to the airport and letting it be known that we were to use the whole place as if it were our own house.Overall, very clean rooms combined with authentic Italian decor and a lovely garden patio. You even have the use of an upstairs sun terrace if needed and the hosts are very welcoming/accommodating!

“Superb Lodging Option” We loved our little apartment with kitchenette on the ground floor just off the beautiful Plaza Antonino, close to everything. We are seniors and appreciated the convenience the location offers for close walks to the train and everywhere. Our room was just off the patio, with no windows, but had a king-size bed and very spacious. We cooked some meals in and ate at the nearby restaurants, especially enjoying the calamari at L'Abate, only two doors away. There is a delightful grocery with lots of antipastos and fresh produce only 5 minutes' walk. We stayed 6 nights, and wished we had planned to stay longer. We loved taking 6 hours to explore Pompeii (afternoons are less crowded and the ruins stay open until 7:30 when you will have it almost by yourself) and 3 hours in Herculaneum (easy train rides away). Naples Archaeology Museum complements the visits to the ruins by letting you see all the beautiful art and mosaics and frescoes taken from the ruins. We also enjoyed a day on the bus ride to the Amalfi coast (spend your time in charming Positano). We bought the Campania ArteCard where the first two ruins are free and the rest plus the museums are discounted ($34 for a 3 day pass), plus all trains and buses are free. We decided to go to Ischia instead of Capri, and enjoyed the quieter atmosphere of a beautiful island. The boat goes there once a day from Sorrento. You cannot make a mistake staying at this lovely apartment with the gracious owners who live onsite and are always available to help, and Antonio, their son who does a great job communicating by email and answering any questions. Wifi in the room never failed.Room Tip: Tell Antonio what you need and he will find the perfect room. Our was a delight (on the ground floo...

“Splendido soggiorno a Sorrento!”
