Very good choice for Sorrento.A great location near the centre of town and close to tha harbour.The coffee shop next door is inexpensive and they serve a great capucino.Giussepina and her son Antonio were extremely helpful at all times.I would recommend you have a cell phone unless you know exactly when you arrive jbsmith@dal.ca

Posizione OTTIMA, personale cortese e disponibile, appartamentino perfetto per due persone. Non è stato nemmeno necessario accendere il condizionatore perchè la temperatura era gradevolissima in casa nonostante all'esterno facesse freddo. Nessun problema con gli utensili della cucina: non manca praticamente nulla. Il piano cottura è un po' scomodo per le persone non molto alte, e forse ci sarebbe bisogno di una pulizia più frequente dell'appartamento (cambio asciugamani, cambio biancheria letto e cucina). Nel complesso comunque abbiamo gradito moltissimo la nostra permanenza e consigliamo la struttura a chi voglia soggiornare a Sorrento. freddiemercury000@hotmail.com

We absolutely adored our Villa Elisa apartment. Excellent location, very pretty and our hostess Guiseppina was so amazing to us even though there was a language barrier. Very clean, nicely decorated, cozy and quaint. We enjoyed our little patio over looking Piazza San Antonino every afternoon with a nice glass of wine. We did have some difficulties arriving from the North on the Autostrada as the signage for Castellammare di Stabia Exit was not found. If there was a sign for this exit we missed it and this created quite a hectic travel day to Sorrento. A little warning as the directions state, there is no general parking at Piazza Tasso. We drove around for quite some time looking for parking there as instructed to no avail. Finding parking is a nightmare. We arrived at Villa Elisa and even with Guiseppina''s little English and our little Italian she was sweet enough to take us to a very reasonable parking lot where we could park our car for 4 days. Very convenient location and reasonable price. We had to pay the balance in cash, which we were not told in advance. But really no complaints: it was clean, air-conditioned, close to the train station and in the centre of the old town and right near the beach. The Villa was centrally located in Sorrento. Air conditiong was a plus as there were no windows only the typical italian door but there was a lovely garden patio for sunning or relaxing just outsdie the front door. The room was quiet at night, amazingly so considering its location. My husband enjoyed going out in the morning for a cappaccino in the local cafe while I slept in.
